Something invisible came back from the pit after the pins 1-5-9-10 were left and knocked all but the headpin. Suddenly 3 pin was "levitating" on the 2 pin and almost went over the lane until the game paused itself. Do anything to fix this glitch but use the old graphics engine. I hate it because it makes the game fuzz up and look bad :evil: :twisted: !!!!!! I don't know how to send a replay because a) Do I need an E-mail? and b) How do you copy it onto this forum?

You upload the replay file to a free file hosting service of your choice and then copy/paste the link you get from that host to this forum.

Here is a list of some free file hosts.

I tried to upload a replay using this host.

See if you can download it on the link below.

Strike, Cranker style! :D

(it takes you to the download page. the link to the actual file can be a little hard to see, its a line of text in the top blue field just below some ads)

The problem about sharing replays is that the ball had no texture and is a white snowball. Once again, don't use the old graphics engin again!!!!!!

The ball on my replay is white on your computer only because I used a ball I made myself so you don't have the texture for it. Maybe it would be a good idea save the texture in the replay file, though the files would be a little heavier.

You replay worked just fine here. My guess is that it's the bottom of the 8pin hitting the 9pin, though they do not touch is other visually. Also the 9pin move as if it was hit with a lot more force than the 8pin has. Looks wierd... :)

It couldn't be! The 9 pin was already hit and was slowly tipping over just before the 8 pin left. Something invisible was in between the 3 pin and the 2 pin, almost making the 3 pin tip over the lane into the other lane. It could be:
* An invisible pin
* A few invisible pins
* An invisible ball
* A wind :lol:
* An invisible magical force :lol:

Thanks for the replay, Mario!

That looked so strange, so i had to find out what the heck caused that. Your third guess was correct. It really is invisible ball that re-appears back to the lane. I know this, because i made a test-version that shows all the items, including invisible ones.

Okey, i really have to fix this bug. When physics are simulated, it's hard to script any behaviour (Smith, 2004).

This bug is fixed from the development version.

In fact two bugs:
- invisible objects cannot collide
- ball won't magically appear back to the lane.

But there was still something clearly pushing the 3 pin up and it wasn't a ball.

I downloaded the replay and all I can say is that it looked like the pins were possessed! That's actually pretty darn funny but I'm glad Vesa has already found the bug and fixed it.

This one has a visible ball coming back and the ball goes all the way back on the lane. If the replay could be a bit longer, it would go to the foul line download :lol: !
